Over the last few years I’ve been reading like a middle schooler with a book under the desk. It truly feels like its all I do with my free time. Recovery from the post-college slump was challenging, but I have returned to my roots with a vengeance and I cannot be satisfied.

Of course, I am a writer too. I read so much because I like books and I want to contribute to this world of literature someday. I’ve been working on a new novel that is really exciting to me and full of potential, but my brain is brimming with the ideas and knowledge that can only come from reading widely within (and outside!) your genre.

I recently got a Kindle, which has been an immersive and addicting reading experience. I have all kind of beef with Amazon, but their little e-reader is the best on the market, and once I figured out how to load it with fanfiction- I was set to go. With KU and Libby in my back pocket, that has been a huge help in reading widely and freely.

I’m not online as much, although I still peruse booktok for recommendations, and its been good for me to focus on my life rather than my digital foot print. My writing keeps getting better and I can’t wait to share it with you someday!
